Gameroar Game Development Workshop Series
Game Development Workshop series conducted by GameRoar.lk is the only continuing game development workshop series in Sri Lanka. Created by Prodigi Interactive (Pvt) Ltd.
The workshop series aims to nurture young game developers in university and independent segments and direct them to pathways to monetize from their very own games.
The workshop series has successfully built communities in a number of universities and institutes from University of Moratuwa to Academy of Design (AOD).
Online Learning Platform With the success of the Game Development Workshop series conducted by GameRoar.lk the online tutorial series GameRoar Guru was launched recently. The platform follows a freemium to premium format. Tutorials are carefully planned from beginner to advanced levels considering the different stages of game development enthusiasts. Real life games are taken as case studies and the development process is systematically broken down. Students can subscribe for monthly or annual packages where they will log-in to the platform and watch tutorials. Currently the platform has over 500+ subscribers.
